Taste of Somerset Mobile Bars

Established in 2002 we specialise in providing mobile bars to suit your special occasion.

Our base is a cider farm situated in the county of Somerset where over the past five years new plantings of traditional bush cider apple trees have given us our Millennium and Jubilee Orchards.

The company is owned and operated by a partnership of two families and we ensure that at least one of the owners is in attendance for the whole of every event we attend.

Originally dispensing various Somerset ciders from our refrigerated vehicle, it soon became clear from customer requests that beer and lager should be added. So we fitted out the refrigerated vehicle to act as a mobile cellar which serves our mobile bar and enables us to serve temperature controlled draught lager, beer and Guinness as well as draught cider.

The new Licensing Act effective from 24 November 2005 gives opportunities for private individuals to manage their own bar for “one off “ occasions. Taste of Somerset management have made a study of the regulations, discussed their application with Local Authorities (see Licensing page) and now offer the hire of our bar equipment for those wishing to manage their own bar.

We pride ourselves in providing a bar and surroundings to suit the requirements of each client, and are continually changing and adding to our equipment. The management has undergone training to obtain a B.I.I. (British Institute of Innkeeping) Certificate and the company has Public Liability Insurance.
