Bar Drinks

Taste of Somerset specialises in providing all types of ales, lagers, and ciders, temperature controlled on draught. Because we are not linked to one supplier or part of a pub, all types of drinks can be arranged.

CIDER

We are based on a cider apple farm in the heart of the traditional cider producing county of Somerset, and are able to offer:

The famous (or should it be infamous) scrumpy on draught
Traditional draught cider: dry, medium or sweet
Sparkling Cider on draught
Various bottled ciders
Special single variety ciders made from the juice of one apple variety
Chilled pear cider
Cider table wine

REAL ALE

We can dispense any brand of real ale by various methods

A traditional hand pump and beer engine
Pumped from the barrel to a bar font
Pumped from our refrigerated mobile store
Direct from the barrel

We work closely with local brewers to ensure the best possible pint
Why not visit Butcombe Brewery or Cheddar Ales

BEERS

Choices of Courage Best, Whitbread Best, John Smiths or Guinness are available if required on draught.

LAGERS

Whilst any types of lager can be arranged we serve on draught as standard a choice of two from Fosters, Carlsberg, Kronenbourg Carling or Stella Artois. Also Becks in bottles.

SPIRITS

Comprehensive ranges of well-known brands of spirits are served from 25ml optics. Sweet and dry sherry together with port is available by the glass together with bottles of WKD and Smirnoff Ice.

WINES

A choice of three red wines, three white wines, a rosé and a sparkling wine, available by the glass or bottle

SOFT DRINKS

As well as a range of mixers, we stock:

Three flavours of J2O
Orange, pineapple, apple and cranberry juices
Various flavours of specialist children’s drinks
Lemonades and colas

COCKTAILS

A choice of nine cocktails and mocktails are available as standard, all others are available by prior arrangement.
